Our team successfully completed a high-accuracy 3D laser scanning project within an operating industrial facility where access was restricted, environmental conditions were challenging, and conventional measurement methods were impractical. Using advanced laser scanning technology, millions of spatial data points were captured to generate a comprehensive point cloud representing the existing facility with millimeter-level accuracy. This digital dataset enabled precise dimensional verification, clash detection, and the development of reliable CAD models for engineering, retrofit, and fabrication activities without the need for repeated site visits.
